Veggie Lasagna Dinner. I'm having a very nice lasagna dinner right now that some friends gave me to take home. It has red peppers, green peppers, yellow peppers, yellow zucchini, green zucchini, shredded carrots, broccoli, and a very delicious sauce.

At home, having veggie lasagna dinner
Live Feed Not Working. For some reason, postings sent to the live feed are sometimes not showing up, and other times they show up much later. So, until this is resolved, I'm going to begin posting updates manually online rather than sending them in from the iPhone. There are no error messages or delivery errors (as sometimes is the case when too many postings are submitted).
At Teg Drive Location - Delays in Blog Posting
Summary. I arrived at the Teg Drive location just after 6PM. For some reason there are unexplained delays in posting to the blog. Messages sent never show up, and there's no captcha warning. The attached photos never show up in the Picasaweb photo database. So, it seems, at least for now, that Blogger just isn't reliable all the time for posting even small numbers of live feed photos.
Bicycle Route Taken. I found a shortcut from my previous location at River Street and Beldon Avenue to Teg Drive. The shortcut route is:
- West on River Street
- Left/South on Woolf Avenue
- Left/East on Newton Road
- Cut through the parking area south to Hawkins Drive, turn left and proceed south toward the University of Hospital Main Entrance and continue on to Melrose Avenue
- Right/West on Melrose Avenue
- Left/South West on Koser Avenue
- Left/South on Sunset Street and continue all the way toward Highway 1
- Left/West on Aber Avenue (just before Sunset intersects with Highway 1)
- Aber Avenue turns into (becomes) Teg Drive after a few blocks
Iowa Avenue, sinkhole
The sinkhole is on the east side of the Iowa Avenue Bridge just west of the overhead railroad bridge. This photo (looking south east) shows the dirt washed away from under the south side (eastbound traffic side) of Iowa Avenue. This is north of EPB. A close-up view of the hole is below.
At home, getting ready for bed
There seems to be a delay in delivery of mobile posted blog messages, so for now I'll provide this update manually from my notebook computer. It's been a long day. I now have three days left before the book reading and four days left before I fly to Seattle for the Border to Border Tour. There's a lot that needs to get done in these next few days. I'm going to get some sleep and start again tomorrow.
